Stay on Jackson Lake Without Bringing an RV
Bear Creek Marina is opening a furnished lakefront camper for nightly stays. You do not need an RV, a tent, or any camping gear. You bring a bag, and the rest is already here: a bed made up for you, a kitchen, air conditioning, wifi, and a private deck facing the water.
The camper sits on the marina grounds on Jackson Lake in Mansfield, Georgia, about an hour southeast of Atlanta. The boat ramp, the kayaks, and the water are all a short walk away.
Most places to stay on Jackson Lake are full lake houses priced for a big group and a long weekend. This is the simpler option: a clean, furnished camper for two to four people, right on the water, at a working marina.
What the Camper Is
It is a furnished fifth wheel with its own deck, set up as a place to stay rather than a campsite. Here is what is in it:
- Sleeps 4 on a king bed plus a pull-out
- Air conditioning
- A kitchen for simple meals
- A bathroom with hot water
- Wifi
- A private deck facing Jackson Lake
- Pet friendly
- Self check-in with a digital lock
An honest note, because we would rather you know before you arrive than after: this is a camper, cozy by design, sitting on the grounds of a working marina. Mornings can start early when boats are launching. If what you want is quiet lakefront and a short walk to the water, it is a good fit.

What a Stay Will Cost
We are not publishing rates until booking opens. Everyone on the waitlist gets them first, along with the first look at dates, before the camper is listed anywhere else.
What we can tell you now: there is a two-night minimum on weekends, check-in runs 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and check-out is 11:00 AM.
Where You Will Be
Bear Creek Marina is at 60 Bear Creek Marina Road in Mansfield, Georgia, on the shore of Jackson Lake. Covington, Monticello, Madison, and Jackson are all a short drive, and Atlanta is about an hour northwest.
Jackson Lake runs bass tournaments through most of the year, which makes this a practical base for anglers in every season and not just in summer. If you are bringing your own rig, our campground has 20 RV sites with full hookups, and we also offer dry boat storage by the month.

When will the camper be available to rent?

Do I need to bring an RV or a camper?
No. The camper is already here, furnished, and set up for guests. You only need to bring clothes and food. If you do own an RV, our campground rents full-hookup sites separately.
How many people does it sleep?
Four. There is one king bed and one pull-out.
How much will a night cost?
We are not publishing rates yet. Everyone on the waitlist gets the rates and the first look at dates before the camper is listed anywhere else.
Are pets allowed?
Yes. Pets are welcome. Pets stay leashed outside and are not left alone in the camper.
Can I bring a boat?
Yes. Our boat ramp is open 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM, and there is room to park a boat and trailer at the unit. Kayak access is included with your stay, subject to availability.

Will the camper be on Airbnb?
